“Building Empowering Enviromant”
Representatives of Europe House Slavonski Brod participated in International capacity building seminar “Building Empowering Enviromant” in Bologna, Italy from 17th till 26th July 2016.
BEE project gathered together participants from South Africa, Kenya, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Lithuania, Africa, Brazil, China, Philippines, Romania and Croatia.
The meeting aimed to foster capacity building of the youth workers and provide partner organizations with the tools and knowledge on Work Based Learning (WBL) and Vocational Education (VET).
During the seminar participants were provided with knowledge on EU policies in the field of youth employability, work-based learning mobility and its role in boosting youth employability concept of apprenticeship and tools for bridging different sectors in order of promoting holistic approach.
YouNet presented their own first-hand experience on creating an enabling environment for WBL, sharing practical examples of recent experiences, methods and tools for bridging VET institutions and labor market.
As an outcome, participants created a plan for awareness raising campaign about the need of cross-sectorial cooperation in order to deliver quality WBL and VET for youth employability in their communities.
